We have released DAFUL V1.0
which covers the multibody dynamics and nonlinear Finite
Element Method. DAFUL allows to solve huge CAE problems
which never been attempted before by other software. We
will expand our business area to Computational Fluid Dynamics,
Control, and Optimization soon. Our mission is to supply
the world best CAE software for our customers to reduce
design cost and development time and to increase their
product quality.
DAFUL has been designed and implemented to cover seamless
multiphysics from the beginning. Current version has two
solver components of the multibody dynamics and the nonlinear
finite element method. Contrast to other existing software,
DAFUL adopts the absolutely stable implicit method for
its numerical integration. Many hurdles blocking the implementation
of the implicit method have been removed by technical
revolutions of computer hardware and software. While only
conditionally stable explicit method takes very small
stepsize for stiff systems, the implicit method allows
to take a very large integration stepsize, which dramatically
improves simulation speed.
DAFUL currently includes two solver engines of multibody
dynamics and nonlinear FEM. DAFUL can be used for dynamic
analysis which yields motion results of mechanical systems.
The analysis results especially are more useful for
engineers who have done static FEM analysis with some
boundary conditions which are usually artificial. Since
no artificial boundary conditions are imposed on FEM
bodies, the dynamic stresses obtained by DAFUL are very
accurate and can be used for fatigue and life prediction. |

DAFUL is a general purpose software.
A specific industry application may
need only some parts of DAFUL GUI and
solver. Or a single command may have
to create many DAFUL entities at the
same time. In this case, VirtualMotion
provides for consulting service for
DAFUL customization for a specific industry
application. Since the customized DAFUL
includes system design process with
the industry specific terminologies,
its users will shorten product development
time significantly.
